The Choice Co.
The heart and soul behind The Choice Co. — and the reason this brand exists.

McKye
The Heart of the Brand
Where It All Began
Every brand has an origin story. Ours starts with a 17-year-old who sees the world differently — and makes it better for it.
McKye navigates life with cerebral palsy and autism. He uses a wheelchair and communicates in his own unique way. But spend any time with McKye and you realise very quickly that limitations are a concept that simply doesn't apply to him.
He has an extraordinary sense of humour — the kind that catches you completely off guard and leaves everyone in the room laughing. He has a personality that fills every space he enters. And he has a way of looking at the world that cuts through the noise and gets straight to what actually matters.
"Many of the sayings that inspire our designs come directly from McKye. His mum Melissa builds and manages the business — but this is McKye's brand and his vision."
The Choice Co. grew from that simple, powerful truth: McKye has a voice. It deserves to be heard. And the world is better when more people like him are celebrated for exactly who they are.

McKye, doing his thing.

Why Clothing
Clothing is one of the most personal, most public things we wear.
It starts conversations before you've said a word. It tells people something about who you are, what you believe, and how you move through the world.
The designs in The Choice Co. aren't just phrases — they're declarations. Not Today. Because I Can. These sayings come from McKye's lived experience. From days when the world said "no" and he said "watch me."
Disability does not define a person's potential, personality, or value. The Choice Co. exists to prove that point, one garment at a time.
Built with love — for McKye, and for every person who's ever been told what they can't do.
What We Stand For
No filters, no pretending. Real stories, real people, real clothing.
The courage to keep going. Keep showing up. Keep finding your own way through.
For everyone. Every size, every background, every ability. No exceptions.
Wear something that makes you stand taller and feel exactly who you are.
Everyone has a voice. Clothing is one of the most powerful ways to use it.
We're building something bigger than a brand — a community that shows up for each other.
